A FINE ANTIQUE GERMAN STRIPPED PINE KITCHEN DRESSER
Dating to the end of the 19th century, this lovely German solid pine 2 piece kitchen cupboard is in very good condition and extremely well constructed with dovetail joints all round.
The cupboard stands on a plinth and has decorative knees and canted corners. To lower section, there is a single shelf to the inside which is enclosed with a pair panel doors complete with working lock and original escutcheons.? .
The top section has 2 drawers which are constructed with hand cut dovetail joints and have applied decorative moulding and original knobs.
?Above this there is another cupboard with two and half shelves to the inside. This is enclosed with a pair of fine glazed doors complete with working lock and original escutcheons.
?The ogee moulded cornice is further complimented with a raised carved pediment.
This is a lovely piece of German furniture which would compliment the room of any home traditional or modern.
?There has in the past been some insect attack to the cupboard, but although historical I have sprayed it all with a 5 star 20 year treatment.

LATE 19th CENTURY LARGE ANTIQUE FRENCH SOLID PINE ARMOIRE WARDROBE
Dating to the end of the 19th century, this stunning French solid pine armoire is in very good condition and will dismantle down completely flat for ease of getting it upstairs....

Standing on turned feet, the wardrobe has 2 plinth drawers which are both constructed with hand cut dovetail joints and have brass handles.

To the inside there are 4 shelves with the bottom one having 2 drawers below. These drawers are also constructed with hand cut dovetail joints and have turned knobs.

The 2 doors that enclose the Armire have geometric moulds and an original working lock.

All this is complimented with turned balusters to each side and an imposing ogee cornice......

This is a lovely piece of French furniture which would compliment the bedroom of any home traditional or modern.

There has in the past been a small amount of insect attack to the armoire but this is minimal and has been sprayed with a 5 star 30 year treatment.

The armoire measures;

STUNNING FRENCH SOLID OAK 2 PIECE BUFFET DRESSER
Dating to the early part of the 20th century, this superb solid oak 2 piece French Buffet is in very good condition.
Standing on traditional escargot feet, the buffet has 3 central drawers all complete with original handles. This is flanked by 2 cupboards, each with a single shelf to the inside and enclosed with a fielded panel door. Both these doors have their original working locks and keys.
The top section has 4 central shelves and is complimented with a spice drawer to each side with cupboard above. Both these cupboard doors again have their original working locks and each has it's own key.
The heavy ogee cornice gives this buffet fine proportions and elegance one would expect from fine country furniture.

The buffet measures; base is 65 inches wide, 20.5 inches deep and 32.5 inches high. The top section is 12 inches deep, 70 inches wide to outside of cornice with an over all height of the buffet being 84 inches.

Dating to the beginning of the 20th century, this stunning Dutch solid pine wardrobe is in very good condition and will dismantle down completely flat for ease of getting it upstairs....

Standing on turned feet and and decorative plinth, the wardrobe has 2 drawers which are constructed with hand cut dovetail joints and have later turned wooden knobs but both drawers have working locks with keys. To the inside there is a full width hanging rail fitted.

This is enclosed with 3 doors. The central one having a mirror with fretwork panel and working lock with key. The 2 flanking doors have solid panels and all 3 doors have later knobs.

All this is complimented with a very pretty raised moulded pediment cornice......

This is a lovely piece of Dutch furniture which would compliment the bedroom of any home traditional or modern.

A STUNNING 6 FOOT ANTIQUE FRENCH NORMANDY CHESTNUT TRUNK, BOX, COFFER, SETTLE
Dating to the early mid 19th century this stunning 6 foot long French Normandy box settle is constructed in solid chestnut with an oak back and is in very good all round condition. All joints are constructed with strong traditional mortise and tenon joints with the ends of the settle extending up to form low roll top arms.
The settle has been cleaned and wax polished to show the beautiful grain figuration of this lovely wood.
The lid of the settle is constructed in such a way the hinges are not required and opens and closes with ease.

Commensurate with it's age, there has in the past been a tiny amount of insect attack to the box, but this has been sprayed with a 5 star 20 year treatment..

The box measures;

A BEAUTIFUL & IMPOSING ANTIQUE GERMAN STRIPPED PINE 2 PIECE DESK
Dating to the end of the 19th century this German pine 2 piece desk is in very good condition. Standing on turned feet and a moulded plinth, the desk has a central drawer above the knee hole which is constructed with hand cut dovetail joints, runs with ease and has it's original handle..

The right hand cupboard has a single shelf to the inside while the left hand cupboard has 4 slide drawers. This is enclosed with 2 doors which have later turned wooden knobs and working locks.

The top section is divided in to 3 small cupboards with the central one having a lattice glazed door.

These all have later turned knobs and are held shut with sprung catches.

The desk has been recently stripped and polished with 3 coats of wax giving a warm patination.

Commensurate with it's age, there has in the past been a tiny amount of historical insect attack to the desk but this is minimal and to make sure of it's eradication it has been sprayed with a 5 star 30 year treatment.

The desk measures;

Standing on plinth, the base section has a central cupboard with a single shelf to the inside and is enclosed with a moulded panel door complete with later working lock and turned knob. Above this the 2 frieze drawers are constructed with hand cut dovetail joints, have later knobs and run with ease.
The 2 flanking cupboards each have 2 shelves to the inside and are enclosed with mouded panel doors, again with later working locks and turned knobs.
The dresser rack has 3 graduated shelves and is finished with a fine moulded cornice..

Commensurate with it's age, there has in the past been some insect attack to the dresser. Although this is historical, I have sprayed the whole unit with a 5 star 30 year treatment..

This is a lovely piece of English furniture and would compliment the dining room of any home traditional or modern.
