Description
This French Sleigh bed dates to the early part of the 20th century and is in very good all round condition..The bed is upholstered in a good quality dusky pink sculptured velor fabric and apart from slight fading the fabric is all good with significant marks.
?The stained beech frame has traditional escargot feet with with scrolled ends and decorative carved motifs to both the head and foot board.
The decorative mould to the head and foot board is further complimented with the serpentine side rails which bolt in to the head and foot boards to give a very firm and secure fixing.
The bed comes complete with a custom made 2 piece wooden slatted base..
This bed will take a modern standard 4 foot 6 inch double mattress and measures to the OUTSIDE;
