A BEAUTIFUL EARLY 20th CENTURY BELGIAN OAK ARTS AND CRAFTS KING SIZE BED
Dating to the early part of the 20th century, this superb Belgian oak king size bed is in very good condition.

This unusual Arts & Crafts bed is good for another 100 years. The foot board is divided in to 3 panels with relief carving and a swept top rail. This is complemented with a matching head board which has a fret work raised pediment and extended carved and moulded corner posts.

The side rails bolt in to the head and foot boards to give a very firm and secure fixing. As with all French beds, there is no base but a slatted base can be tailor made for an additional 55.00.

This is a super bed which would fit well in any setting, traditional or modern.
The bed has been cleaned and polished with 3 coats of wax giving a warm patination.

This bed will take a modern king size double mattress and measures to the outside;

59 inches wide

82.5 inches long

57.5 inch high head board

38.5 inch high foot board

EARLY 20th CENTURY LARGE ANTIQUE DUTCH SOLID PINE ARMOIRE WARDROBE
Dating to the beginning of the 20th century, this stunning Dutch solid pine wardrobe is in very good condition and will dismantle down completely flat for ease of getting it upstairs....

Standing on bold turned feet, the wardrobe has 3 plinth drawers which are constructed with hand cut dovetail joints and have later turned wooden knobs.

To the left hand side of the wardrobe there are 4 shelves which are all fully adjustable up and down, while to the right hand side there is a horizontal hanging rail fitted with shelf above.

This is all enclosed with 3 doors. The central one having a mirror panel and the 2 flanking doors having solid panels and working locks..

All this is complimented with a very pretty raised pediment cornice.......

This is a lovely piece of Dutch furniture which would compliment the bedroom of any home traditional or modern.

There has in the past been a small amount of insect attack to the wardrobe but this is minimal and has been sprayed with a 5 star 30 year treatment..

Dating to the beginning of the 20th century, this stunning German solid pine wardrobe is in very good condition and will dismantle down completely flat for ease of getting it upstairs....

Standing on bracket feet, the wardrobe has 2 plinth drawers which are constructed with hand cut dovetail joints and both have their original D handles.

To the right hand side of the wardrobe there are 3 shelves fitted while to the left hand side there is a horizontal hanging rail fitted.

This is all enclosed with 3 doors. The central one having a solid pine panel and original lock and key. The 2 flanking doors have applied bead work, original green glass and handles and a later replacement lock to the right..

All this is complimented with a traditional ogee cornice.......

This is a lovely piece of German furniture which would compliment the bedroom of any home traditional or modern.

There has in the past been a tiny mount of insect attack to the wardrobe but this is minimal and has been sprayed with a 5 star 30 year treatment..

The wardrobe measures;

Standing on turned feet and a reeded plinth, the wardrobe has 3 drawers which are all constructed with hand cut dovetail joints and all have their original handles.

To the right hand side of the wardrobe there are 5 shelves fitted while to the left hand side there is a horizontal hanging rail fitted with shelf above.

This is all enclosed with 3 doors. The central one having it's original bevel edge oval mirror which is all good but commensurate with it's age has a little pitting. The 2 flanking doors have applied carvings and their original handles. Both locks work but one is a later replacement..

All this is complimented with a simple cornice which has an applied carving to match the doors.......

This is a lovely piece of German furniture which would compliment the bedroom of any home traditional or modern.

There has in the past been some insect attack to the wardrobe but this is minimal and has been sprayed with a 5 star 30 year treatment..

HEAVY LARGE ENGLISH PINE REFECTORY DINING TABLE
This fine English early 20th century solid pine refectory table is in very good condition.

The peg jointed table stands on traditional turned legs with a lower stretcher.

The thick top has a mortise and tenon bread board end and is all good with no significant marks or scratches.

This top just sits on it's frame so can be easily lifted off for ease of transportation.

The table has been stripped and polished with 3 coats of wax to give a warm colour and fine patination.

This really is a lovely strong piece of English furniture that would fit well in any room setting, traditional or modern.

The table measures 84 inches long, 36 inches wide and 29.75 inches high.

IMPOSING FRENCH BRETON CHESTNUT ARMOIRE / WARDROBE
With all it's Celtic charm this imposing French Breton Armoire is in good all round condition and would date to 1880.
The Armoire comes completely flat and can be re assembled in about 20 minutes.
To the inside there are 3 shelves all of which are fully adjustable up and down. There are 2 new telescopic hangers fitted to the top shelf ready for immediate use if required.
All this is enclosed with the most amazing panel doors, each with relief carving of Breton men and women in traditional dress. The carved Celtic roundels are a feature found on Breton furniture.
The left hand door is held shut with a simple hook while the right hand door closes on to it and is held shut with it's original working lock and key.
The raised pediment which if needed can be simply lifted off is delicately carved depicting 2 Breton men playing the flute under a tree.

The Armoire measures; 49 inches wide / 53 to outside of cornice, 18 inches deep / 20 to outside of cornice, 88.25 inches high and 97.5 inches high to top of pediment.

LARGE FRENCH WALNUT ART DECO EXTENDING DINING TABLE WITH 3 LEAVES
This fine French early 20th century Art Deco extending walnut table is in very good condition.
Standing on a typical Art Deco stylized base, the table has a geometric frieze rail and extends to accommodate 3 leaves. ..
The top is all good with only minor marks and scratches commensurate with it's age.
When the table is closed it measures; 47 inches long x 35.75 inches wide and 30.25 inches high. With one leaf inserted it is 67.5 inches long, with 2 leaves inserted it is 87.5 inches long and with all 3 leaves it measures a full 106 inches long..
This really is a lovely strong piece of French furniture that would fit well in any room setting, traditional or modern.

LATE 18th CENTURY ANTIQUE FRENCH SOLID OAK ARMOIRE / WARDROBE
Dating to the end of the 18th century, this stunning and imposing French Normandy solid oak Armoire is in good condition and will knock down flat for ease of getting it upstairs. Please note that this a very heavy piece of furniture and will require 2 people to handle it. It will be delivered disassembled but is straight forward to re assemble by a competent person....
Standing on traditional escargot feet, the armoire has paneled cheeks and a decorative plinth apron.
?The to inside there is a single shelf with drawers below. If required, included in the price I can supply 2 additional softwood shelves or a wooden horizontal hanging rail. The enclosing panel doors are of an asymmetrical design and have their original brass hinges and full height brass key escutcheons. The lock is a later addition but still has some age.
This is complimented with a traditional regional ogee cornice.
This is a lovely piece of French furniture which would compliment the bedroom of any home traditional or modern.
