A VERY NICE ANTIQUE DANISH ESCERITOIRE / WRITING DESK / BUREAU
Dating to the end of the 19th century this imposing Danish pine writing desk is in very good condition.
Standing on bun feet, the desk has 3 lower drawers all of which are constructed with hand cut dovetail joints and all have later knobs and escutcheons.
To the inside of the top half there are no less than 18 drawers of various sizes. They are all constructed with hand cut dovetail joints and all run with ease. The drop down flap has it's original working lock with key.?.
The top is all good with no significant marks or scratches.

The desk has been stripped and polished with 3 coats of wax giving a fine patination...

the desk measures;

43 inches wide, 16.75 inches deep and 51.5 inches high.

A VERY PRETTY FRENCH HENRI II STYLE CHESTNUT SIDE TABLE
Dating to the end of the 19th century, this super French chestnut side table / desk is in good sturdy condition.
The desk stands on fine turned and fluted legs and is peg jointed all round.
?The frieze drawer is well constructed and has it's original knobs.. .
The top is all good with no significant marks or scratches though does have an historical mark on the back right hand corner as shown in the photo.....

A VERY PRETTY FRENCH LOUIS PHILIPPE CHERRY SIDE TABLE
Dating to the middle of the 19th century, this super French Cherry side table / desk is in good sturdy condition.
The desk stands on turned Louis Philippe legs with all joints being pegged mortise and tenon. The frieze drawer runs with ease and has a traditional turned wooden knob.. .
The top is all good but commensurate with it's age, it does have a few marks and scratches.

There has in the past been a small amount of historical insect attack to the desk but this has all been sprayed with a 5 star 20 year treatment....

FANTASTIC EARLY 20th CENTURY ARTS & CRAFTS OAK DESK
This beautiful early 20th century Arts & Crafts desk has been crafted in solid oak and is in super condition.
Standing on pad feet, the desk has a row of 3 graduated drawers to each side of the knee hole with pull out slides at work level.
The top section has a central drop down flap which has a working lock and key and is flanked by 2 panel doors. These doors are held closed with the central flap.
The inside of the top section has a series of pigion holes and 2 drawers, one of which has a sprung clip for holding down paper work.
All of the handles and fittings are original to the desk and are all in good condition.

The desk measures; 46 inches wide, 21 inches deep with a working height of 30 inches.
The top section is 14 inches deep with an over all height of the desk is 46.5 inches.

AN EARLY 20th CENTURY SOLID OAK BRITISHER ARTS & CRAFTS WRITING DESK
Dating to the early 20th century and manufactured by the "Britisher Desk Company" this solid oak desk in in very good condition.
To each side there are 4 graduated drawers and one central locking drawer. All these drawers benefit from having there original ring handles.
The center flap with it's later working lock drops down to provide a fitted interior comprising of a series of pigeon holes and 2 small drawers.
Above this there is a raised back with 2 quarter shelves.
The desk is in it's original polish but has been given a couple coats of wax to enhance it's fine patination.

The desk measures; 48 inches wide, 18 inches deep, 53 inches to top of the back and 29 inches to flap height.

A BEAUTIFUL & IMPOSING ANTIQUE GERMAN STRIPPED PINE 2 PIECE DESK
Dating to the end of the 19th century this German pine 2 piece desk is in very good condition. Standing on turned feet and a moulded plinth, the desk has a central drawer above the knee hole which is constructed with hand cut dovetail joints, runs with ease and has it's original handle..

The right hand cupboard has a single shelf to the inside while the left hand cupboard has 4 slide drawers. This is enclosed with 2 doors which have later turned wooden knobs and working locks.

The top section is divided in to 3 small cupboards with the central one having a lattice glazed door.

These all have later turned knobs and are held shut with sprung catches.

The desk has been recently stripped and polished with 3 coats of wax giving a warm patination.

Commensurate with it's age, there has in the past been a tiny amount of historical insect attack to the desk but this is minimal and to make sure of it's eradication it has been sprayed with a 5 star 30 year treatment.

The desk measures;

55.5 inches wide

31.25 inches high

54 inches high to top of upper section

This is enclosed with 2 panel doors complete with original pin hinges and working locks.
The 3 frieze drawers are constructed with hand cut dovetail joints and all have their original handles.

Dating to the early part of the 20th century this super solid oak knee hole desk is in very good condition.
Standing on it's original casters, the desk has the central knee hole and to either side there are a row of 4 graduated drawers with a full width frieze drawer to the top.
All these drawers are constructed with hand cut dovetail joints and all benefit from having their original inset turned wooden knobs.

The top of desk with it's fine madullery rays which can only be produced by carefully selecting and cutting the oak is all good with only minor marks commensurate with it's age.
The desk measures; 41 inches wide, 26 inches deep and 30 inches high.

A VERY PRETTY LITTLE ENGLISH OAK LADIES KNEE HOLE DESK
Dating to the early 20th century, this super English Ladies Knee Hole Desk is in very good sturdy condition.

To the left there are 3 graduated drawers complete with original knobs and to the right there is a cupboard with drawer to the top and file dividers below. This is enclosed with a single panel door with original lock and key.

The top has had a new tooled leather insert and has a working lock which is operated with the same key as the door.

The desk has been cleaned and polished with 3 coats of wax giving a fine golden patination..

32 inches wide, 19 inches deep and 29.5 inches high to bottom of slope.

the kneehole is 12 inches wide by 24.75 inches high
