A STUNNING 6 FOOT ANTIQUE FRENCH NORMANDY CHESTNUT TRUNK, BOX, COFFER, SETTLE
Dating to the early mid 19th century this stunning 6 foot long French Normandy box settle is constructed in solid chestnut with an oak back and is in very good all round condition. All joints are constructed with strong traditional mortise and tenon joints with the ends of the settle extending up to form low roll top arms.
The settle has been cleaned and wax polished to show the beautiful grain figuration of this lovely wood.
The lid of the settle is constructed in such a way the hinges are not required and opens and closes with ease.

Commensurate with it's age, there has in the past been a tiny amount of insect attack to the box, but this has been sprayed with a 5 star 20 year treatment..

The box measures;

72 inches wide

19 inches deep

19 inches high to seat.

A LOVELY ANTIQUE GERMAN ORIGINAL PAINTED PINE BOX SEAT, BENCH, SETTLE
This super German box settle is in very good condition and benefits from having it's original paint finish which I have simply cleaned and applied 2 coats of wax.
The legs which support the main section rise up to form the scrolled arm rests.
The back rest has 2 panels and a central gallery of 3 split turnings with the date 1842 below..
The seat section has a full width hinged lid providing a very useful storage area.
There has in the past been a small amount of historical insect attack to the settle but this is minimal and has been sprayed with a 5 star 30 year treatment.

80 inches wide x 21 deep with a seat height of 20.5

the over all height to top of back is 40 inches

SUPER FRENCH OAK HALL STAND COAT UMBRELLA STAND
Dating to the beginning of the 20th century, this superb French solid oak hall stand is in very good condition.
The stand has a panel back with stick stands to each side both of which have their original zink drip trays.The central drawer runs with ease, with the mirror above being very good with only minor foxing commensurate with it's age.
All of the 6 solid coat hooks are all good and sturdy.
The deep top shelf being perfect for hats.
This is a lovely piece of French furniture which would fit well in any home traditional or modern.

The stand measures; 39 inches wide, the drawer and top shelf is 9.5 inches deep with an overall height of the stand being 79 inches.

FANTASTIC ANTIQUE STRIPPED PINE ChEST OF 4 DRAWERS
Dating to the end of the 19th century this fantastic stripped pine chest of 4 drawers is in excellent condition and stands on bub feet with 2 small drawers over 2 large.
The drawers are constructed with hand cut dovetail joints and benefit from having their original brass handles and key escutcheons.
The white marble stage top is all good with no significant marks or scratches.

The chest has been recently stripped and polished with 3 coats of wax to give a warm inviting patina.

The chest measures; 33 inches wide, 20.5 inches deep and 30 inches high plus the stage top.

OAK AND PINE FRENCH COUNTRY BOX SETTLE
Dating to the middle of the 19th century, this lovely rustic oak and pine French settle is full of the rustic charm only a 150 years of loving use could have.
All the panels are constructed in traditional pegged mortice and tenon joints making this settle very strong and sturdy.
The seat part simply lifts off to give useful storage in the box section.

The settle measures; 51 inches long, 19 inches deep with the seat being 18 inches high and the back being 42 inches high.

As one would expect with furniture of this age, there has been some historic insect attack to the settle but this has been sprayed with a 5 star 30 year treatment

FANTASTIC EAST GERMAN PINE WASHSTAND, CABINET, CUPBOARD
Dating to the end of the 19th century, this super stripped pine cabinet is in very good condition.
Standing on bun feet the cabinet has a single shelf to the inside which is enclosed with a fine pair of panel doors, being held shut with a sprung catch.
The 2 frieze drawers are constructed with hand cut dovetail joints and rune with ease.
The white marble top is all good with no significant marks.

The cabinet measures; 30.75 inches wide, 18.5 inches deep and 30.25 inches high plus the marble up stand.

SUPER ARTS & CRAFTS OAK HALL / UMBRELLA STAND WITH BOX SEAT
This beautiful early 20th century Arts & Crafts oak hall stand is in very good condition.
To the centre there is a box seat with lift up lid which is flanked by the stylized feet which hold the tray to the umbrella stand and rise up to support the hand rails.
The panel back has a series of hooks with an oval mirror. This mirror is generally good but as shown in the photo does have some foxing.
This is all complimented with the applied turned wood bosses and the fine flat ogee cornice.

The stand measures; 31.5 inches wide max, 14.75 inches deep max and 74 inches high.

A PAIR OF FRENCH CHERRY AND OAK KITCHEN BENCHES
Dating to the end of the 19th century, this lovely pair of French rustic benches are in strong and sturdy condition. The oak A frame legs are jointed to the cherry seat using the traditional wedged mortice and tenon joint.
The benches have been polished with 3 coats of wax giving a warm honey patination.
There has in the past been a small amount of insect attack to the benches which is commensorate with their age but this has all been sprayed with a 5 star 30 year treatment.

The benches each measure; 77 inches long, 6 inches wide and 17.5 inches high.

VERY PRETTY FRENCH OAK WASHSTAND
Dating to the end of the 19th century this pretty French oak washstand is in good condition.
Standing on turned legs to the front and square to the back, the washstand has a pot shelf which acts as a stretcher making the table very strong.
The white marble top is good but as shown in the photo it does have a very small hair line crack to the left hand side. This is historical and I would say it had been there for many decades.
The frieze drawer runs with ease and has it's original turned knobs.

The washstand measures; 31.75 inches wide, 18 inches deep and 30 inches high plus the up stand.

A PRETTY LITTLE EDWARDIAN WALNUT CANTERBURY / MAGAZINE RACK
Dating to circa 1910 this super little Edwardian walnut Canterbury is in very good all round condition.
Standing on it's original solid brass casters the Canterbury is divided in to 3 equal sections.
It's in it's original finish but has been given a couple of coats of wax to enhance it's fine patination.
