Description
Dating to the early part of the 19th century, this French oak and pine Buffet is in good condition.To the inside there are 2 shelves which are enclosed with a super pair of moulded panel doors. The left hand door has a faux-dormant panel and is held shut with a simple hook and eye while the right hand door closes on to it and is held shut with a later working lock and key. These doors also benefit from having their original solid brass pin hinges and escutcheon plates.
The top is all good with no significant marks or scratches.
This is a lovely piece of French furniture and would compliment the dining room of any home traditional or modern.
Commensurate with it's age, there has in the past been some insect attack to the Buffet but this has been sprayed with a 5 star 20 year treatment..

40 inches high.
