Description
This French bed dates to the early / middle part of the 20th century and is in good all round condition..Upholstered in a good quality studded floral fabric, the bed stands on traditional escargot feet with a stained beech frame. The fabric is all good with no marks or damage.
The decorative mould to the head and foot board is further complimented with the serpentine side rails which bolt in to the head and foot boards to give a very firm and secure fixing.
This bed comes complete with a custom made wooden 2 piece slatted base.
This bed will take a modern standard 4 foot 6 inch double mattress and measures to the outside;
59 inches wide
79 inches long
46 inch high head board
32 inch high foot board
