Description
This super late 19th century German pine box settle is in very good condition and has been stripped and polished with 3 coats of wax.The legs which support the main section rise up to form the scrolled arm rests.
The back of the settle has vertical slats which match the side arms..
The seat section has a full width hinged lid providing a very useful storage area. The hinges of this lid are later replacements.
There has in the past been a tiny amount of historical insect attack to the settle but this is minimal and has been sprayed with a 5 star 30 year treatment.
the bench measure;
77 inches wide max x 19 inches deep with a seat height of 18 inches.
the over all height to top of back is 34.25 inches
