Description
This French double bed dates to the early part of the 20th century and is in good all round structural condition.Upholstered in a studded and sculptured fabric which is all good but as shown in the photo's, does have some wear and although serviceable, could probably do with recovering at some point. The bed stands on traditional stylized escargot feet with a stained beech frame.
The elegant curves of the head and foot board are further complimented with the serpentine side rails which bolt in to the head and foot boards to give a very firm and secure fixing.
This bed also comes with a tailor made 2 part slatted base.
This bed will take a modern standard double mattress and measures to the outside;

82 inches long
46.5 inch high head board
28.5 inch high foot board
