Description
Dating to the middle of the 19th century, this super 3 piece French pine Buffet is in very good all round condition. It stands on a deep a moulded plinth.?The base section has a single shelf which is enclosed with a pair of moulded panel doors complete with original brass escutcheons and later working lock with key. The frieze cushion drawers run with ease and have turned brass knobs.
The top section has 2 shelves to the inside and is enclosed with a pair of moulded doors which matches the base doors, and also have their original excutcheons and working lock with key. This is all complimented with a traditional Louis Philippe lift off ogee moulded cornice.
This is a lovely piece of French furniture and would compliment the dining room of any home traditional or modern.
Commensurate with it's age, there has in the past been a tiny amount of insect attack to the Buffet but it has all been sprayed with a 5 star 20 year treatment..

top is; 44.5 inches wide, 16 inches deep / 13.25 internal and has an over all height of 86.75 inches.
