Description
Dating to the beginning of the 20th century, this 2 piece German pine dresser is in good condition and stands on sled feet and a plinth.?The base section of the dresser has a single shelf to the inside and is enclosed with a pair of panel doors with later working lock. The frieze drawers are constructed with hand cut dovetail joints, run with ease and have later wooden knobs.
?The top section has 2 small spice drawers with brass button handles. Above this there is a cupboard area with a single shelf to the inside. This is enclosed with a pair of glazed doors complete with original rolled glass and later working lock with key.
?This is all complimented with a traditional ogee moulded cornice.
Commensurate with it's age, there has in the past been some insect attack to the dresser. Although this is historical, I have sprayed the whole unit with a 5 star 20 year treatment..
This is a lovely piece of German furniture and would compliment the room of any home traditional or modern.

39 inches high
the top is;
42.75 wide / 45.25 outside of cornice, 13 inches deep ( 11.75 internal) with an over all height of the whole dresser being 78.75 inches..
