Description
Dating to the beginning of the 20th century, this stunning German pine buffet is in very good condition.It stands on a plinth and? to the inside which is divided in to 2 section there is a single shelf which is enclosed with a pair of panel doors and a single door complete with original handles and later sprung catches. The frieze drawers are constructed with hand cut dovetail joints, have there original brass handles and run with ease.
The top is all good with no significant marks or scratches.
This is a lovely piece of German furniture that would compliment the dining room of any home traditional or modern.
Commensurate with it's age, there has in the past been some insect attack to the sideboard but has been sprayed with a 5 star 20 year treatment..
