Description
Dating to the end of the 19th century, this fantastic solid pine Danish chest of 5 drawers is in very good condition and is a chest of high quality...Standing on bun feet, the chest has 5 full width drawers which are all constructed with hand cut dovetail joints and all have their original brass handles and key escutcheons.
To each side of the chest there are applied decorative split turnings.
The drawer runners are all good allowing smooth running of the drawers..
The top is all good with no significant marks or scratches...
This is a lovely solid piece of furniture which would compliment the bedroom of any home traditional or modern.
There has in the past been a tiny amount of insect attack to the feet of the chest but this is minimal and although historic, has been sprayed with a 5 star 20 year treatment..
