Description
Dating to the middle part of the 19th century, this stunning French Breton walnut Buffet is in very good condition.It stands on traditional escargot feet with a moulded and carved apron. To the inside of the cupboard there is a single shelf. This is enclosed with a pair of moulded and carved panel doors complete with original working lock and key. Each door has a central lozenge with a fluted roundel and further carving to the four quarters.
?The solid brass hinges and key escutcheons are all original to the buffet.
?The top frieze rail together with the corners have further decorative carvings.
This is a lovely piece of French furniture and would compliment the dining room / hall of any home traditional or modern.

21 inches deep / 18.5 internal
42 inches high .
