Description
Dating to the middle / end of the 19th century, this stunning French pine buffet is in very good condition.It stands on ogee scroll feet with canted corners.
To the inside there is a single shelf which is enclosed with a pair of moulded panel doors complete with original working lock and key escutcheons. The moulded frieze drawers are constructed with hand cut dovetail joints, have there original brass handles and run with ease.
The top is all good with no significant marks or scratches.
This is a lovely piece of French furniture that would compliment the dining room of any home traditional or modern.
Commensurate with it's age, there has in the past been a small amount of insect attack to the Buffet but has been sprayed with a 5 star 20 year treatment..
