Description
Dating to the end of the 19th century, this large German solid pine wardrobe is in very good condition and will dismantle down completely flat for ease of getting it upstairs....The wardrobe stands on moulded bracket feet with blind fretwork decoration to the plinth. The drawers are constructed with hand cut dovetail joints, slide with ease and have their original knobs.
To the inside there is a horizontal hanging rail fitted. This is enclosed with a pair of panel doors complete with later working lock and brass key escutcheons..
All this is complimented with a superb moulded raised pediment cornice .......
This is a lovely piece of German furniture which would compliment the bedroom of any home traditional or modern.
There has in the past been some historical insect attack to the wardrobe but this has been sprayed with a 5 star 20 year treatment..
The wardrobe measures;
65.5 inches wide / 67.75 to outside of cornice
22.5 inches deep / 24.25 to outside of cornice / 21 inches internal
83.25 inches high.
