Description
This very pretty late 19th century French walnut Louis XV style cabinet is in very good all round condition.The cabinet stands on slender cabriole legs which rise up to the acanthus leaf carved knees and the rococo carved frieze rail. The pot cupboard has it's original marble liner and is enclosed with a carved and moulded panel door complete with original turned knob.
The frieze drawer is constructed with hand cut dovetail joints, has a moulded front and original turned knob.
The rouge marble top is all good with no significant marks or scratches.
There has in the past been a small amount of insect attack to the cabinet, but although historic, I have sprayed the whole unit with a 5 star 20 year treatment.
