Description
Dating to the end of the 19th century this East German pine Dresser base / sideboard is in very good condition.Standing on turned feet, the sideboard has a single shelf to the inside which is enclosed with a pair of moulded panel doors which benefits from having a working lock and key. The 2 moulded frieze drawers are constructed with hand cut dovetail joints and have their original turned knobs.
The top is all god with no significant marks or scratches..
The sideboard has been recently stripped and polished with 3 coats of wax giving a warm patination.
There has in the past been a small amount of insect attack to the sideboard but this has been sprayed with a 5 star 20 year treatment.
The sideboard measures;
47inches wide
21.25 inches deep
29.5 inches high.
