Description
Dating to the beginning of the 20th century, this lovely German solid pine wardrobe is in very good condition and will knock down for ease of getting it upstairs....Standing on bracket feet, the wardrobe has 2 plinth drawers which are constructed with hand cut dovetail joints and both have their orginal handles.
To the inside there is a new horizontal hanging rail fitted which is enclosed with a pair of panel doors complete with carved car touche, and working lock with key.
This is complimented with moulded and carved knees and a stylized cornice with another carved car touche .......
This is a lovely piece of German furniture which would compliment the bedroom of any home traditional or modern.
There has in the past been a small amount of insect attack to the wardrobe but this is mainly to the back boards and has been sprayed with a 5 star 20 year treatment..
The wardrobe measures;
