Description
Dating to the early 20th century, this super stripped pine 2 piece dresser is in very good condition.To the inside of the base section there is a single shelf which is enclosed with a pair of panel doors. These doors have their original escutcheons and a working lock with key.
The frieze drawers are constructed with hand cut dovetail joints, have their original knobs and slide with ease.
The dresser top has 2 shelves to the inside and are enclosed with a pair of glazed doors. Like the base section, these doors have their original escutcheon and a working lock with key. The also benefit from having their original rolled glass. This is all complimented with a fine moulded raised pediment cornice.
Commensurate with it's age, there has in the past been a small amount of insect attack to the dresser. Although this is historical, I have sprayed the whole unit with a 5 star 20 year treatment..
This is a lovely piece of German furniture and would compliment the dining room of any home traditional or modern.

the top is;
13.75 inches deep ( 12 internal) with an over all height of the whole buffet being 79.5 inches..
