Description
Dating to the beginning of the 20th century, this lovely German solid pine wardrobe is in very good condition and will dismantle down completely flat for ease of getting it upstairs....Standing on turned bun feet, the wardrobe has 2 plinth drawers which are all constructed with hand cut dovetail joints and both have their original handles.
To the inside there is a new horizontal hanging rail fitted which is enclosed with 3 doors complete with original handles and working locks (one key for both locks). The central door has a solid panel with the 2 flanking doors having glazed panels with original green hammered glass..
All this is complimented with a simple period reeded cornice .......
This is a lovely piece of German furniture which would compliment the bedroom of any home traditional or modern.
There has in the past been a little insect attack to the wardrobe but this is minimal and has been sprayed with a 5 star 20 year treatment..
The wardrobe measures;
56.75 inches wide max
24 inches deep max / 20.5 inches internal
76 inches high.
