Description
Dating to the beginning of the 20th century, this very pretty and useful German solid pine cupboard is in very good condition..The cupboard stands on stylized bracket feet and to the inside there are 3 shelves which are enclosed with a single panel door complete with working lock and key and decorative ogee panel mouldings.
The frieze drawer is constructed with hand cut dovetail joints, has further ogee moulding and turned wooden knob.
The tray top is all good with no significant marks.
The cupboard has been recently stripped and polished with 3 coats of wax giving a warm patination.
The cupboard measures;
33.5 inches wide
16 inches deep / 12 inches internal
52.25 inches high plus up stand.
