Description
Dating to the beginning of the 20th century, this stunning German solid pine wardrobe is in very good condition and will dismantle down completely flat for ease of getting it upstairs....Standing on bracket feet, the wardrobe has 2 plinth drawers which are constructed with hand cut dovetail joints and both have their original D handles.
To the right hand side of the wardrobe there are 3 shelves fitted while to the left hand side there is a horizontal hanging rail fitted.
This is all enclosed with 3 doors. The central one having a solid pine panel and original lock and key. The 2 flanking doors have applied bead work, original green glass and handles and a later replacement lock to the right..
All this is complimented with a traditional ogee cornice.......
This is a lovely piece of German furniture which would compliment the bedroom of any home traditional or modern.
There has in the past been a tiny mount of insect attack to the wardrobe but this is minimal and has been sprayed with a 5 star 30 year treatment..
The wardrobe measures;
63 inches wide / 67.5 to outside of cornice
24.5 inches deep max / 27 to outside of cornice / 22.5 inches internal
80.25 inches high.
