Description

Dating to the turn of the 20th century, this super French walnut Henri II style side table / desk is in very good sturdy condition.
The desk stands on turned and fluted legs with decorative moulded frieze rails. The frieze drawer runs with ease and has complimentary fluting and a later swan neck handle.. .
The parquet top is constructed with solid pieces of walnut on an oak ground. As shown in the photo and commensurate with it's age, there is a little unevenness and shrinkage to the topbut more than would be usual.
There has in the past been some historical insect attack to the desk but this has all been sprayed with a 5 star 30 year treatment....
the table / desk measures;
38 inches wide, 29 inches deep and 29 inches high.
