Dating to the middle of the 19th century, this fantastic solid pine chest of 4 drawers is in very good condition and is a chest of high quality originaly made and given as part of a dowry to one's marriage...
Standing on it's original hardwood bracket feet, the chest has 4 full width graduated drawers which are all constructed with hand cut dovetail joints and all have later turned wooden knobs.
The top drawer benefits from have a row of 5 internal smaller drawers which again are constructed with hand cut dovetail joints and are dated 1862.
The drawer runners are all good allowing smooth running of the drawers..
The top is all good with no significant marks or scratches...
This is a lovely solid piece of furniture which would compliment the bedroom of any home traditional or modern.
There has in the past been a tiny amount of insect attack to the feet of the chest but this is minimal and although historic, has been sprayed with a 5 star 30 year treatment..

17.5 inches deep
44.25 inches high .
