Description
Dating to the late 19th century, this super stripped pine 2 piece dresser is in very good condition.Standing on plinth, the base section has a central cupboard with a single shelf to the inside and is enclosed with a moulded panel door complete with later working lock and turned knob. Above this the 2 frieze drawers are constructed with hand cut dovetail joints, have later knobs and run with ease.
The 2 flanking cupboards each have 2 shelves to the inside and are enclosed with mouded panel doors, again with later working locks and turned knobs.
The dresser rack has 3 graduated shelves and is finished with a fine moulded cornice..
Commensurate with it's age, there has in the past been some insect attack to the dresser. Although this is historical, I have sprayed the whole unit with a 5 star 30 year treatment..
This is a lovely piece of English furniture and would compliment the dining room of any home traditional or modern.

35 inches high
the rack is;
bottom shelf 6.5 inches deep, middle shelf 8.5 inches deep, top shelf 10.5 inches deep with an over all height of the whole dresser being 82 inches..
