Description
Dating to end of the 19th century, this super German solid pine wardrobe is in very good condition and will split in to 2 for ease of getting it upstairs....Standing on turned feet, the wardrobe has a plinth drawer which is constructed with hand cut dovetail joints and has it's original turned wooden knobs.
To the inside there is a full width horizontal hanging rail fitted.
This is enclosed with a pair of fielded panel doors complete with original working lock and key. This is all complimented with a traditional ogee cornice and raised pediment.....
This is a lovely piece of German furniture which would compliment the bedroom of any home traditional or modern.
There has in the past been a small amount of insect attack to the wardrobe but although historic, has been sprayed with a 5 star 30 year treatment.
The wardrobe measures;
44.5 inches wide / 48.5 to outside of cornice
21.25 inches deep / 23.25 to outside of cornice / 20 inches internal
71.25 inches high / 77 to top of pediment.
