Description

Dating to the beginning of the 20th century, this stunning French 3 piece pine Buffet is in very good condition.
It stands on stylized bracket feet and plinth.
To the inside there is a single shelf which is enclosed with a pair of panel doors. The left hand door is held shut with a simple sprung catch while the right hand door closes on to it and is held shut with it's original working lock and key. The frieze drawers have their original knobs, applied moulding and run with ease.
The top gallery has 2 shelves which are supported by turned columns and further complimented with a raised and finely carved pediment.
This is a lovely piece of French furniture and would compliment the dining room of any home traditional or modern.
Commensurate with it's age, there has in the past been a some insect attack to the Buffet but has been sprayed with a 5 star 30 year treatment..
The Buffet measures;
43.25 inches wide
16.75 inches deep
39.25 inches high to work top and 76 inches high over all.
