late 19th century antique german pine bookcase with adjustable shelves

Description

Dating to the end of the 19th century and being crafted in solid pine, this stunning German bookcase is in excellent sturdy condition and is well constructed.
Standing on turned feet, the bookcase has a full width plinth drawer which is constructed with hand cut dovetail joints and has later turned wooden knobs.
Above this there are 3 shelves which are all fully adjustable up and down.
This is further complimented with carved and moulded knees and stepped ogee cornice..
This is a lovely piece of German furniture and would compliment the room of any home traditional or modern.
There has in the past been a small amount of historical insect attack to the cabinet but this has been sprayed with a 5 star 30 year treatment..
The cabinet measures;
39.25 inches wide / 43 to outside of cornice
20 inches deep at the base / 12 internal to the book shelves
69.5 inches high over all.
