Description
Dating to the late part of the 19th century, this stunning French oak Buffet is in very good condition.It stands on dainty bun feet with a moulded plinth.
From the lower tier, the fine barley twist columns rise up supporting the central shelf and continue to the carved and moulded frieze. The frieze drawers are constructed with hand cut dovetail joints and have carved fox mask handles.
The tray top is all good with no significant marks and benefits from having an attractive carved and moulded pediment back.
This is a lovely piece of French furniture and would compliment the dining room of any home traditional or modern.

17.75 inches deep
39.5 inches high 42.5 to top of up stand.
