Description
Dating to the end of the 19th century, this stunning Dutch solid pine wardrobe is in very good condition and will dismantle down completely flat for ease of getting it upstairs....Standing on stylized geometric feet, the wardrobe has 3 plinth drawers which are all constructed with hand cut dovetail joints and have their original knobs.
To the left hand side of the robe there is a full width horizontal hanging rail, while to the left hand side there are 3 shelves fitted. (if required more shelves can be made for £15.00 each)
This is enclosed with a central mirror door. The original bevel edge glass is all good with no significant misting or pitting. This is flanked by 2 moulded panel doors complete with working locks and keys and applied relief carvings. The carved and moulded raised pediment cornice further compliments this super wardrobe.....
This is a lovely piece of Dutch furniture which would compliment the bedroom of any home traditional or modern.
Commensurate with it's age there has in the past been a tiny amount of insect attack to the wardrobe but this is minimal and has been sprayed with a 5 star 30 year treatment..
The wardrobe measures;
