a beautiful and unusual german stripped pine cupboard

Description

Dating to the early mid part of the 20th century this East German pine Cupboard is in very good condition. Standing on stylized deco feet, the cupboard has 4 drawers to the left hand side which are all constructed with hand cut dovetail joints and all have later wooden knobs. To the right there are 2 shelves to the inside which are enclosed with a single panel door..
The top is all good with no significant marks..
The cupboard has been recently stripped and polished with 3 coats of wax giving a warm patination.
Commensurate with it's age, there has in the past been a small amount of historical insect attack to the cupboard but this is minimal and to make sure of it's eradication it has been sprayed with a 5 star 30 year treatment.

17.5 inches deep
36 inches high.
