fantastic late 19th century antique french pine armoire bookcase

Description

Dating to the last quarter of the 19th century and being crafted in pitch pine, this stunning armoire / bookcase is in excellent sturdy condition.
Standing on turned feet, the armoire has a full width plinth drawer which is constructed with hand cut dovetail joints, runs with ease and has later turned wooden knobs.
To the inside there are 4 shelves which are all fully adjustable up and down.
This is all enclosed with a clear glass door which has a later working lock with key. To each side of the door there are decorative turned columns supporting the ogee cornice, raised pediment and turned capitals.
This is a lovely piece of French furniture and would compliment the room of any home traditional or modern.
There has in the past been a very small amount of insect attack to the armoire but this is minimal and has been sprayed with a 5 star 30 year treatment..

18.5 inches deep max / 13 inches internal
85 inches high over all.
