Description
This super French Breton double bed is crafted in oak and is in very good condition.With it's Celtic overtones, the head and foot board have finely carved panels depicting traditionally dressed Bretton men and women. This is further complimented with a series of galleried spindles which is typical of the Breton region.
The side rails bolt in to the head and foot board making a strong and secure fixing.
As with all French beds there is no base but a wooden slatted base can be made for an additional £55.00.
The bed will take a modern double mattress and measures; 57.75 inches wide, 77 inches long, 46.5 inch head board and 27.5 inch foot board. to bring.
The bed is in it's original polish but has been given 2 coats of wax to bring out the integrate carving and fine figuration.
The cost of delivering the bed to England, Wales and Scotland (Glasgow-Edinburgh) is £75.00 with a tracked specialist courier.
