Description
Dating to the end of the 19th century,this French mirror is crafted in walnut and is in good condition though commensurate with it's age it has been subject to some historical insect attack. Although this is all old, I have sprayed the mirror with a 5 star 30 year treatment.The mirror is flanked by 2 turned and fluted balusters which rise up to the carved and fluted frieze. This is further complimented with a gallery of spindles, turned finials and a sun burst pediment.
The original bevel edge glass is good but has got some silver wear which I have tried to show in the photo's.
The mirror measures; 41 inches wide max, 4.25 inches deep and 65.5 inches high.
