Description
Dating to the end of the 19th century, this amazing French Henri II oak revival double bed is in very good condition.Standing on turned feet, the bed has carved, turned and fluted corner posts supporting the head and foot board.
Each board is divided in to 3 equal panels complete with applied moldings and carved rosettes.
The head board is further complimented with a stunning raised carved pediment.
The side rails bolt in to the head and foot board making a strong and secure fixing.
As with all French beds, there is no base but a wooden slatted base can be tailor made for an additional £55.00.
The bed will take a modern 4 foot 6 double mattress and measures; 55 inches wide, 80.5 inches long, head board is 64.5 inches high and the foot board is 32 inches high.
The cost of delivering the bed to England, Wales and Scotland (Glasgow-Edinburgh) is £75.00 with a tracked specialist courier.
