With all it's Celtic charm this imposing French Breton Armoire is in good all round condition and would date to 1880.
The Armoire comes completely flat and can be re assembled in about 20 minutes.
To the inside there are 3 shelves all of which are fully adjustable up and down. There are 2 new telescopic hangers fitted to the top shelf ready for immediate use if required.
All this is enclosed with the most amazing panel doors, each with relief carving of Breton men and women in traditional dress. The carved Celtic roundels are a feature found on Breton furniture.
The left hand door is held shut with a simple hook while the right hand door closes on to it and is held shut with it's original working lock and key.
The raised pediment which if needed can be simply lifted off is delicately carved depicting 2 Breton men playing the flute under a tree.
The Armoire measures; 49 inches wide / 53 to outside of cornice, 18 inches deep / 20 to outside of cornice, 88.25 inches high and 97.5 inches high to top of pediment.
The cost of delivering the Armoire to England, most of Wales and Scotland (Glasgow-Edinburgh) is £75.00 with a specialist courier.
