Description
With it's Celtic overtones and the folk art of western Brittany, this beautiful chestnut bedside cabinet is in good all round condition.From the lower pot board the turned and fluted legs rise up to the pot cupboard. This cupboard is enclosed with a panel door which is relief carved depicting a man dressed in traditional Breton clothes set in a country scene.
The frieze drawer with further Celtic carving like the door has it's original Knob and runs with ease.
The rouge marble top is all good with no significant marks.
The cabinet measures; 15.75 inches wide, 14 inches deep and 33.5 inches high.
