Description

Dating to the middle of the 19th century, this super French Armoire is in good sound condition.
The Armoire will come completely flat and can be assembled in about 20 minutes.
Standing on stub feet and a plinth the Armoire has solid cherry cheeks with the front having symmetrical cherry veneer on solid chestnut.
To the inside there is a single shelf (more can be made if required for an additional �15.00 each)
This is all enclosed with a pair of panel doors complete with original solid brass key escutcheons. The left hand door is held shut with a simple hook and eye with the right hand door closing on to it and is held shut with it's original working lock and key. (this key is permanently in the lock)
The canted corners of the Armoire run from the plinth to the fine ogee cornice.
The Armoire measures; 50 inches wide/54 to outside of cornice. 20 inches deep/21.5 to outside of cornice. The height of the Armoire is; 86 inches.
There has in the past been a small amount of insect attack to the Armoire but this is historical and has been sprayed with a 5 star 30 year treatment.
