Description
Dating to the end of the 19th century, this super French shabby chic armoire has an antique white paint finish and is in very good condition.Standing on ogee scroll feet the armoire has a frieze drawer incorporated in to it's plinth.
To the inside there are 5 shelves which are all fully adjustable up and down.
The bottom one has a drawer below it which I will fit 2 button knobs to before it goes out.
This is all enclosed with a heavy mirror door. The original bevel edge glass in this door is in good condition. The original lock works but is a little temperamental.
The ogee arch top cornice lifts off for ease of transport.
The armoire measures; 39.5 inches wide, 42.75 inches to outside of cornice. 17.5 inches deep and 19.25 to outside of cornice. 89.5 inches high
There has in the past been a small amount of insect attack to the armoire but this is minimal and has been sprayed with a 5 star 30 year treatment.
