Description

Standing on traditional eacargot feet with acanthus leaf knees, this super French late 19the century Rococo Armoire is in good all round condition and comes completey flat with re assembly in about 20 minutes.
To the inside there are 4 shelves (fully adjustable up and down) with the bottom one having a drawer below it (this drawer can be pulled out to provide some secret storage bellow it.
The lock in this drawer works and uses the same key as the door.
The 2 doors have their original bevel edge glass which does have a small amount of foxing commensorate with it's age which I have show in the photo's.
The lock does work but is a little worn.
The Chapeau de Gendarme cornice rises up to the finely carved rococo shell pediment.
The armoire measures; 51 inches wide / 54.5 to outside of cornice, 18 inches deep / 19.5 to outside of cornice and the over all height is 98 inches.
There has in the past been a small amount of insect attack to the back of the armoire but this is minimal and has been sprayed with a 5 star 30 year treatment.
