Description
Dating to the middle of the 19th century this super cherry armoire is in lovely condition. The armoire comes completely flat and can be assembled in about 20 minutes. Standing on ogee scroll feet, the armoire has 2 shelves to the inside 1 with drawer below. (more shelves could be made for £15.00 each).This is enclosed with a pair of beautiful panel doors. The left hand door is held shut with a simple hook while the right hand door closes on to it and is held shut with it's original working lock and key.
This is all complimented and finished with a bold ogee cornice.
As with all fruit wood furniture of this age, there has in the past been a small amount of insect attack to the armoire, although historic, I have sprayed the whole thing with a 5 star 30 year treatment.
The armoire measures; 50 inches wide / 53.5 outside of cornice, 22 inches deep / 23.75 outside of cornice and 84.5 inches high.
